Three-panel sliding windows for wide views and ventilation from both ends.

An end vent slider uses three sections: a fixed centre panel and two outer sashes that slide horizontally. This style suits wide openings that need a broad centre view and ventilation from both ends.
Falcon WD supplies and installs custom vinyl end vent slider windows across the GTA and selected Ontario communities. First, we review the opening and project details. Then we order the frame, glass, colour, hardware and screens listed in your quote.
Each outer sash moves sideways along its track, while the centre glass section remains stationary. You can open one side or both sides to adjust airflow.
Locks, rollers, sash releases, weather seals and screen layouts vary by manufacturer. However, Falcon WD confirms the chosen product details in the written quote before ordering.
The fixed centre section creates a broad viewing area in the middle of the opening. For example, this layout can work well in living rooms, kitchens and other wide wall openings.
Both outer sashes operate in a standard end vent layout. You can bring air in from either side or open both ends at the same time.
The sashes slide within the frame during normal use. They do not project over a walkway, deck, balcony or garden.
Many modern models let the end sashes tilt inward or release for cleaning. However, the cleaning method depends on the selected system. Always support the sash and follow the manufacturer’s steps.
Manufacturers offer different options by frame series, window size and glass weight. The quote should name the exact product and glass package.
Some exact frame-and-glass combinations carry ENERGY STAR certification. However, the end vent slider style alone does not prove certification. We must check the selected model, size and glass package.
| Window style | Layout | How it opens | Common reason to choose it |
|---|---|---|---|
| End vent slider | Fixed centre with two moving ends | Outer sashes slide sideways | Wide centre view and airflow from both ends |
| Double slider | Usually two moving sashes | Both sashes slide sideways | Simple operation in a two-panel opening |
| Picture window | One fixed section | Does not open | Maximum glass area where ventilation is not required |
| Casement combination | Fixed and hinged sections | Operating sashes swing outward | Compression-style closing and flexible layouts |

Factories build end vent sliders to custom dimensions. However, frame strength, glass weight, sash size, reinforcement and hardware create product limits. Therefore, Falcon WD confirms final measurements before the factory starts the order.
Before we quote the work, we check the old frame, sill, jamb depth and exterior finish. Then we choose the right installation method. A retrofit installation keeps more of the old frame, while full-frame replacement removes it.
An end vent slider does not automatically meet egress rules. In fact, the fixed centre panel separates the two end openings. The review must use the clear opening through an operable end section and the rules for that room.
Falcon WD includes screens for the opening sections unless the quote says otherwise. However, screen size, frame and holding method depend on the chosen product.
Manufacturers also select the lock, roller and sash-release systems for each window size. Before you tilt or remove a sash, unlock the window and support the sash weight. Then follow the product instructions. Finally, use mild cleaners to protect the vinyl, glass coatings, seals and hardware.
Several choices affect the price. For example, width, height, glass, colour, screens, reinforcement, installation method, exterior capping and repair work can change the total.
To start, send us the project address, rough sizes and clear photos from inside and outside. After that, we can review the likely scope. We will still confirm final measurements before ordering.
An end vent slider has three sections. The centre section stays fixed, while the two outer sashes slide horizontally for ventilation.
An end vent slider uses a fixed centre section and two moving end sashes. In contrast, a double slider usually uses two moving sashes without a fixed centre panel.
Yes. In a standard end vent slider layout, both outer sashes operate. However, the exact travel and hardware depend on the selected product.
Many models let the outer sashes tilt inward or release for cleaning. However, the exact cleaning system varies by manufacturer and product line.
Yes. Falcon WD includes screens for the opening sections unless the written quote says otherwise. Screen size and layout depend on the selected product.
Many product lines offer triple-pane glass. However, the manufacturer must confirm size, sash-weight and hardware limits for the exact window.
No. The fixed centre panel divides the opening, so the review must check the clear opening through an operable end section, the sill height and the rules for that room.
Production usually takes about three to four weeks after final measurement and deposit. Installation time varies with the number of windows and the work required at each opening.
Falcon WD can replace one end vent slider or include this style in a larger home window project. In either case, the written quote will list the product, glass, screens, installation work and finish details.
