The fixed centre section creates a broad viewing area in the middle of the opening. For example, this layout can work well in living rooms, kitchens and other wide wall openings.

The sashes slide within the frame during normal use. Therefore, they do not project over a walkway, deck, balcony or garden.
Many modern models let the end sashes tilt inward or release for cleaning. However, the cleaning method depends on the selected system. Always support the sash and follow the manufacturer’s steps.

Factories build end vent sliders to custom dimensions. However, frame strength, glass weight, sash size, reinforcement and hardware create product limits. Therefore, Falcon WD confirms final measurements before the factory starts the order.
Before we quote the work, we check the old frame, sill, jamb depth and exterior finish. Then we choose the right installation method. A retrofit installation keeps more of the old frame, while full-frame replacement removes it.
An end vent slider does not automatically meet egress rules. In fact, the fixed centre panel separates the two end openings. Therefore, the review must use the clear opening through an operable end section and the rules for that room.
